Boat Race with 99 Engines: How to Get Wins
Last updated:
Build your Wins balance, choose useful reward bonuses, and work out how many races stand between you and your next purchase.
Earn Wins by passing trophy markers during races and claiming ready Online Gifts. Equip items with Wins bonuses and claim Wins II for +10% Wins Rewards. To estimate a purchase, subtract your spendable balance from the price, divide the remaining cost by your average earnings per complete race, and round up. Multiply that race count by your full race cycle time to estimate the wait.

Purchase-goal estimates using spendable Wins and earnings from comparable complete races.
Wins needed = max(goal cost − balance, 0). Estimated races = ceil(Wins needed ÷ average Wins per race). Estimated time = races × seconds per complete race cycle.
- Average earnings use comparable complete runs with the same setup.
- Exclude gift income and purchases when measuring race earnings.
- Entered earnings already include the active equipment's effects.
- Cycle time includes any waiting between runs.
- Results are estimates; individual race earnings can vary.
Earn Wins from Races and Gifts
Enter the glowing area beneath START to join a race, then follow the course through trophy markers. Wins accumulate along the route—you can earn them before reaching the finish. A trophy popup shows one reward, not your total earnings for the whole race. For course controls and returning to the lobby, see the racing guide.
Open the gift box on the left to check Online Gifts. Trophy rewards include 10 Wins and 50 Wins. Wait for the relevant tile's countdown to finish, then click its green CLAIM! button. You can claim gifts during a race, too. The free rewards guide covers the other rewards and gift controls.
Use the trophy balance on the right side of the screen when planning purchases. The Wins progress shown in Achievements is a separate counter and is not your spending budget.
Improve Your Wins Setup
Equip your purchases before racing. These displayed bonuses give you practical options for improving your current setup:
| Equipment | Displayed Wins bonus | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Wooden Raft | +10% | Boat panel |
| Canadian Canoe | +20% | Boat panel |
| Boat | +35% | Boat panel |
| Basic Engine | +5% | Initial panel before the first upgrade |
| Starter Engine | +10% / +11% / +12% | Level 1 / 2 / 3 |
| Standard Jet | +15% | Purchase panel |
| Prisoner | +30% | Partner panel |
| White | +50% | Equipped trail |
| Red | +100% | Equipped trail |
- No trail and a small budget: consider White at 200 Wins. Its +50% Wins and +50% Acc make it a useful early race upgrade.
- Already using White and able to spend 800 Wins: consider Red for +100% Wins and +100% Acc. It replaces White, increasing each displayed bonus by 50 percentage points. You do not need to buy White first. See White vs Red and trail equipment controls.
- Choosing a boat or engine: Canadian Canoe offers a higher displayed Wins bonus than the Level 1 Starter Engine at the same 100-Wins purchase price. Starter also supports training, so choose around your next activity. The early buying priorities guide explains that tradeoff.
- Already own Prisoner: check that the partner is equipped so its +30% Wins bonus is part of your active setup.
Open Achi and check Wins II, whose target is Reach 500 Wins. Once it shows Completed, click Claim to receive +10% Wins Rewards. See achievement rewards and claiming for the full process.
Treat the listed percentages as individual bonuses, not an additive total multiplier. Judge the resulting setup by the Wins you earn across comparable complete races.
Set a Purchase Goal
Choose an item or add together the prices of several planned purchases. These early goals use Wins:
| Purchase goal | Cost |
|---|---|
| One opening of the starter egg | 30 Wins |
| Canadian Canoe | 100 Wins |
| Starter Engine | 100 Wins |
| White trail | 200 Wins |
| Standard Jet | 500 Wins |
| Red trail | 800 Wins |
| Boat | 1,000 Wins |
Enter that amount as Purchase goal cost and your current trophy balance as Spendable Wins. For a bundle, include every item you still intend to buy; the calculator estimates the remaining cost of the whole plan. An egg opening buys a random hatch, not a particular pet.
Check the item's displayed price before committing your budget. If your balance already covers your goal, no additional races are needed for that purchase.
Estimate Races and Time
Use the calculator to turn your remaining purchase cost into a race count and time estimate. Replace its example earnings and cycle time with measurements from your current setup.
- Measure comparable complete races. Keep the same equipment and use full runs rather than isolated trophy popups. Record your Wins balance before and after each run.
- Separate race income from other transactions. Avoid claiming gifts or making purchases while measuring, or account for them: race earnings equal ending balance minus starting balance, minus gifts received, plus Wins spent.
- Enter your average race earnings. Add the race-only earnings from your measured runs and divide by the number of runs. Use a positive average in Average Wins per complete race.
- Measure the complete cycle. Include the run itself and any waiting before the next run. Enter the average duration in seconds as Complete race cycle time.
- Read the estimated races and minutes. The calculator rounds the race count up so a partial race's worth of missing Wins becomes another complete run.
Your measured earnings already include your active equipment's effects; do not multiply them by the listed bonuses again. Individual runs can pay differently depending on the markers you reach. After changing equipment or claiming a reward bonus, measure a new average; after spending Wins or collecting a gift, update your balance.
